Training Approach

Weightlifting

No matter what level of experience you are, or limitations you may think you have, there are always ways to safely and effectively perform weightlifting to increase strength, muscle mass, tone and improve fitness levels.

With me, you will be performing the foundational squat, deadlift and pressing exercises and as a supplement use effective tools such as weightlifting chains, resistance bands and follow science-based protocols to sure-fire your results.

The conditioning aspect will be covered with the ultimate conditioning tool called The Inertia Wave which is designed to rev your heart rate up, and strengthen your arms, postural muscles, abdominals and legs.

Athleticism

Strength and conditioning itself plays a huge part in sport today, as it is a tool to improve strength, speed, stamina, jumping abilities, change of directions, reaction timing and so on.

These parameters are a constant in almost all sports, that is why with me, you will be focusing on plyometrics, weightlifting, sport-mirrored cardiovascular drills, injury prevention strategies and hip, ankle, core stability.

You will have access to performance center-style equipment such as a light-reflex system in the BlazePods, a flywheel device and certified landmine training.

Safety First

Safety comes first and foremost, experience and willingness to learn has taught me to understand bodies and minds.

If anybody is going to reach their goal they will have to..

  • stay happy, motivated and fulfilled by staying healthy and pain free.
  • work towards having a well maintained body from head to toe in terms of joint and muscle health

Safety is not just about lifting weights in a 'safe way' that is imperitive, but with me, we will be targeting your weaknesses as a supplement to your main goal which will allow you to have a sustainable health and fitness journey.

The Spine and Core

The core is what drives our body to perform movement, and to my understanding is comprised of the abs, glutes, lower back and spine.

Strengthening and improving the capabilities of these areas of pivotal in optimal function of the body.

With me, we will be using state-of-the-art core training devices such as The Inertia Wave, Edgecross, Core Momentum Trainers, and Tidal Tank utilizing water weight.

These devices are specifically designed for the pelvic floor, inner core, obliques and stabilizers responsible for balance and proprioception across your body.
